Shipibo Canvas bag

Shipibo canvas bag hand painted with natural dyes. The Shipibo-Conibo people live in the amazon rainforest in Peru where they still practice their artistic tradition and decorative designs found in their clothing and textiles using natural dyes and organic materials. This bag is made by Alicia and the members of her family who all are amazing artisans. The designs come from the Shipibo peoples symbol language and each one is a piece of art since they all are unique, the bag on display is used as an example. Made in 100% cotton fabric with black inner lining.
