Silver Chakana with gemstones
The chakana is the Incan sun cross and its holy geometric design has many meanings. The three steps represent the three levels of existence, the upper world Hana Pacha - heaven, the stars and the divine, Kay Pacha - the earth, world of the humans and Uqhu Pacha - the underworld, heavy energies but not hell, death. They also represents the holy trinity of animals, the condor, the snake and the puma and the four corners of the cross is the four elements and the four points of the compass. The spiral in the middle of this chakana represents mother earth and the colors of the gemstones symbolize the rainbow. 950 silver, mother pearl, chrysocolla, sodalite and spondylus, 5 cm long.
